WOOD PANELS
Our responsible choice: FSC® and CARB2 certified wood panels.
At Comprex, our dedication to quality and sustainability is reflected in the materials we use. We have adopted a strict supply policy that ensures that each wood panel meets the highest standards of sustainability and environmental safety. All panels are FSC® certified, which means they come from well-managed and responsible forests where reforestation and biodiversity conservation are promoted. In addition, our wood panels strictly comply with CARB2 standards that guarantee extremely low formaldehyde levels, thus contributing to a safer environment for our customers and our planet.
WATER-BASED PAINTS
Water-based paints for a healthier environment.
We have already for some time adopted a policy of gradually abandoning solvents in our finishes, which are made exclusively with water-based paints, completely avoiding the use of harmful solvents. The drastic reduction of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions is one of the keys to this transformation. Thanks to water-based paints, almost all emissions are transformed into water vapour, thus helping to keep the air cleaner and reducing pollution.
PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS
Sustainable energy at the heart of our production.
In 2021, we took an important step towards a sustainable future by implementing a 1 megawatt photovoltaic system on the roofs of our production plant. This initiative reflects our efforts towards energy self-sufficiency and our desire to reduce our environmental footprint. With this renewable energy source, we are creating a cleaner and more responsible manufacturing environment, helping protect the planet for future generations.

It ensures compliance with strict environmental, social and economic standards, promoting a positive ecological footprint and social responsibility in the wood industry.
CARB2 (California Air Resource Board)
It ensures that furniture has formaldehyde levels far below safety limits, helping to maintain a home environment protected from air pollution.
